Old Spitalfields Antiques Market

We can reguarly be found at Old Spitalfield's Antiques Market on a Thursday.  We leave home at 0430 with a car laden with antique and vintage wares and a rather large flask of tea and head for the Big Smoke.  There is something rather exhilarating and exciting about Spitalfields Market even at that time of the morning - I think it's simply because you never know who you may meet and what you might find. I have a growing love  for little vintage paraphernalia at the moment, from old porcelain dolls heads, postcards, old kitchenware, to French Linens etc so for me this is one of my favourite places to be.

Discover Vintage Home Show

 To Chiswick Town Hall we went for the first ever Vintage Home Show organised by Discover Vintage. The doors opened at 11am and  Vintage seekers from far and wide entered the show to peruse the 30-40 stalls of pure vintage loveliness. I had the pleasure of meeting Tupperware Man, (yes they still do make it) and lots of other fellow vintage dealers selling various items from the 40's through to the 70's. The day was a great success with our Vintage film light leaving the building for it's new home which just so happened to be the home of somebody very famous...
